Vanilla Extract Powder Flavour 1038 Natural


DESCRIPTION
A white to off -white coloured powder that gives a full, rounded richness of natural vanilla extract boosted with natural vanillin.

Bulk Density at 25 degree celcius: 0.710 – 0.720


APPLICATION
This flavour is especially formulated to give a rich and well rounded vanilla extract aroma and taste with sweet background of natural vanillin. This flavour is highly recommended to enhance the richness of vanilla and give a premium taste to different product applications such as bakery, confectioneries, dairy and chocolate.

Recommended Dosage
• Cookies : 0.12% - 0.20% w/w of batter/dough weight
• Cakes/Bread / Doughnuts : 0.12% - 0.20% w/w of batter/dough weight
• Milk / Milk Products : 0.10% - 0.20% w/w
• Ice-Cream : 0.10% - 0.20% w/w of ice cream mix
• Toffees / Milk Candies : 0.10% - 0.20% w/w of base
• Cream Fillings : 0.12% - 0.20% w/w of base

LEGAL STATUS
This flavour is composed of natural vanillin which is FEMA GRAS with Dextrose Monohydrate as carrier.

CLASSIFICATION
This flavour is classified as natural flavour for all countries.

STORAGE
Keep sealed in a cool dark place, away from direct sunlight. This flavour is stable for two years and does not have serious caking problem.

PACKING
• 25kg high barrier bag packed in an outer carton.

PROCEDURE:

1. Cream the butter, vegetable shortening and icing sugar until fluffy.
2. Add the water. Beat well.
3. Add the recommended flavour. Mix well.
4. Refrigerate the dough for 10 minutes.
5. Roll/cut in grease proof/baking paper.
6. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 180ēC until the cookies are pale cream in colour.


This demonstration shows the efficacy of the flavour in the cookies at 0.125% of Vanilla Extract Powder Flavour 1038 Natural.
